Places of Pilgrimage
My pilgramage is (and was) to New York City, New York. I have dance every day of the week, and, at times, it seems to dominate my entire life, but that's exactly how I want it. NYC has been called the dance capitol of the world, and just being in Manhattan was one of the most exciting experience of my life. A couple years ago, my family and I got to spend a whole week in Times Square, where I would have dance classes for up to ten hours a day! The whole trip just felt "right," and I would go back in a heartbeat!

Places of Pilgrimage
I honestly can't say I have a place of pilgrimage. I like certain places and areas and I want to see certain things, like the Globe. But, I really don't feel there is someplace I have to go or I just won't be complete. Now, I do want to go to Japan, but it's not that important to me. What I'm doing is just more important than where I am I guess.

Places of Pilgrimage
My personal place of pilgrimage would have to be Paris, France. My whole family is French and I also speak the language, so it would really be incredible to see the whole country. I specifically chose Paris because it's also one of several fashion capitals of the world. Someday I'd like to work at a magazine, hopefully involving fashion, so this would be an amazing place to see. I'll be fulfilling this dream in June when I study abroad there and I could not be more excited about it!

By age 17 I have already seen much of the world with north America. A goal of mine is to see the wonders of the world and the sights of the world. This "pilgrimage" will take many travels and a long time to complete. Being able to see the great pyramids, the leaning tower, the great wall, palaces, towers, landmarks and places through out the world.

The more I think about it, the more I realize that I have been to my place of pilgrimage. About five years ago, I went to the Sydney Opera House with my Junior Strings group. Since I was in a group of kids, we did not really get to explore the whole place. We just went to the main places in the house. I would love to go back by myself and attend a concert in the enormous hall. I wish to return within my lifetime.

My place of pilgramage? I would have to say the Vatican City. Not only is it a beautiful city but it's also home to religious artifacts, as well as the ancient Roman culture. I am currently in Latin and I am going toItaly this summer and I can honestly say, I am very excited about!

Places of Pilgrimage
My place of pilgrimage? I would go see a playoff hockey game between the Toronto Maple Leafs (the name of the team is Leafs, not leaves, it's not a spelling error) and the Montreal Canadiens (French spelling for Canadians, again, not a spelling error). These two teams are arguably the most important in hockey history since they were part of the original league setup. Seeing the game in either city would be fine but I would prefer Toronto because my French n'est pas bien. Neither of these teams came close to making the playoffs this year so needless to say, these tickets won't be available, or even exist, for a long time. Anyway, the local fans are fanatical and a price of $1000 for decent seats would not surprise me.

Places of Pilgrimage
This wikipost is such an easy question. Without a doubt, there is absolutely no other experience that would be more transcending than embarking on a pilgrimage to Graceland, Tennessee. Ever since I was exposed to the music of Elvis when as a child, the man has influenced my life as if I were a puppet on a string. Don't  ask me why, but somehow listening to his music always makes me feel as if I'm the king of the whole wide world.  To put it simply, Elvis has made me all that I am. 

Such an experience has been always on my mind and I long for the day to put on my "blue swede shoes" and follow that special dream when a nice long legged girl (with whom I'm almost in love) and I could drive down the long, lonely highway to where I've always regarded as my personal promised land. Just thinking about this voyage gets me, for lack of a better term, "all shook up," and to physically be there, I imagine, would feel like being on the very edge of reality or a humbling religious experience, sort of like going to church, meeting God and begin crying in the chapel. Oh, how it hurts me to think of this exodus coming to an end!

And when the day comes 50, 60, or 70 years from now, when my grandchildren ask me how they too can achieve their dreams, what I'd say is my personal mantra for accomplishing anything, "only believe and let yourself go."

Excuse me for sounding so sappy, but I've just heard "Blue Christmas" in too long a while.

Places of Pilgrimage
My pilgrimage would lead me across the sea over to both the country of Greece and to the city of Rome. I would visit these places mostly because I feel like this is where civilization as we know today, developed greatly in both of these places. The main aspect of these two places is how medicine made great strides through certain individual living in these areas. On top of the history that occurred here, the architecture and scenery I believe would be unforgettable.

I would like to go to the Vatican City, as it is not only the center of Roman Catholicism, but a place filled with great art from throughout the ages. It offers a glimpse into the cultural and religious history of the western world, and a visit would prove to be both informative and spiritually lifting.
